Join us to bridge the gender gap in traditionally male dominated industries and unlock a world of potential for women seeking fulfilling careers in blue collar fields.
Despite advancements in society, gender and ethnic pay gaps persist. Women earn approximately 82 cents for every dollar that men earn and this inequity deepens for women of color. Pay inequity hinders us all. Addressing these disparities is crucial in achieving true economic progress.

BACKSTORY
I went on a long personal journey to get here...
The road has been tough, but I'm tougher than the terrain.
Following a more traditional route of education and career advancement I did not realize my dream on a full time basis until 2018. I have a Bachelor in Psychology, Master's in Criminal Justice, and spent the decade prior to joining the blue collar community working in human services. While I used my painting and decorating skills in the field for part time businesses, these were not full time endeavors.

In 2018, struggling with the stress of working a traditional office job, I decided to make the transition and follow my passion for working with my hands. I enrolled in Goodwill's Women in Construction program, eventually joining the union after brief employment with GDOT as temporary labor in highway construction. IUPAT is where I chose to make my professional home, volunteering as a delegate, Recording Secretary, and Chair(wom)man of Trustees. I regard my membership and resulting career as therapeutic and life changing. The brotherhood has given me more than I could ever return.
